Vocational Evaluations

When and individual suffers an injury and cannot return to their previous position a vocational evaluation reports the persons capabilities at present. An interview will be conducted pertaining to their previous employment, psychological and cognitive limitations, age & education and reviewing medical records.  Assessments are also performed at the time of the interview to analyze how the injury impacts their performance. These factors are important in determining employability and loss of earnings.

Life Care Plans

What is a life care plan?

According to the agreed-upon definition, “The life care plan is a dynamic document based upon published standards of practice, comprehensive assessment, data analysis, and research, which provides an organized, concise plan for current and future needs with associated costs for individuals who have experienced catastrophic injury or have chronic health care needs.” (International Conference on Life Care Planning and the International Academy of Life Care Planners. As certified Life Care Planners we conduct extensive evaluation, review your medical care and create recommendations on future and current needs to ensure that a client is care for long term. A life care plan helps determine the value of your case. It can also be helpful in case settlement. The plans can be admitting into court and helps plan a future.

SVC works with counsel to create life care plans for catastrophic injuries or injuries secondary to accidents. Each plan is unique to the needs of a specific person.

Career Planning

Individuals develop a practical approach to making a career change by setting goals, creating or updating a resume and cover letter, improving interview skills and setting a road-map to achieve career goals. After the initial interview a career assessment will follow to assess aptitudes and interest.
